Design and Release Engineer-Chassis

Job Description:

• Proposes engineering solutions and changes (along with cross functional teams).
• Coordinates and ensures development, validations, and release systems.
• Oversees design and manufacturing process stages.
  
  

• Advanced knowledge of structural engineering and material properties (steel, aluminum, composites),
• Medium knowledge of Noise and Vibration Harmonics, crash safety, and fatigue analysis,
• Basic knowledge of CAE simulations for structural integrity,
• Medium knowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, stamping, welding)
• Basic knowledge in Nx for sufacing, packaging and integration.
• Medium knowledge in Team center.
• Medium knowledge with GD&T and stack-up analysis.
• Experience in assembly processes.
                          

• Engine cradles, subframes, cross members, chassis brackets, bolted joins, rivet joins, hardware (fasteners)
