Job Description

BigID is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv. This role involves shaping the production infrastructure for containerized, microservice-based, and cloud-native platforms. The engineer will be involved in evolving CI/CD pipelines, improving system reliability, and scaling production infrastructure. Responsibilities include enhancing CI/CD architecture, building release pipelines, leading test automation, collaborating on progressive delivery, building and scaling multi-region cloud environments, and integrating quality tooling into developer workflows. The role requires hands-on experience in DevOps/Automation/Platform Engineering and proficiency in CI/CD, Kubernetes, and modern SDLC practices.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of DevOps/Automation experience
  • Experience with Java, Python, or js
  • Strong background in CI/CD and Kubernetes
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
  • Fluent in Hebrew and English
Good to have:
  • Experience with test frameworks like Pytest
  • Experience with SaaS reliability practices
  • Familiarity with SBOMs and DevSecOps

Are you passionate about building cutting-edge DevOps infrastructure? Do you thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where you're empowered to innovate and deliver? BigID is looking for a DevOps engineer to join our DevOps  Infrastructure team in Tel Aviv!

As part of the DevOps org, you'll play a key role in shaping the production infrastructure that supports our engineering platforms—containerized, microservice-based, and cloud-native. You’ll work side-by-side with R&D to evolve our CI/CD pipelines, improve system reliability, and scale production infrastructure that supports our global growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Level up our CI/CD architecture using Argo Workflows, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes-native deployment strategies
  • Enhance our build & release pipelines for scalable, multi-arch Docker images, with quality gates and dynamic testing
  • Lead efforts to evolve our test automation framework across microservices (REST APIs, async flows, cloud services)
  • Collaborate with R&D on implementing progressive delivery, canary deployments, and real-time alerting with DataDog and Open Telemetry.
  • Build and scale production that works across multi-region cloud environments (AWS/GCP), using Terraform and Helm
  • Drive a DevEx-first culture—integrate quality tooling (e.g., SonarQube, Trivy, Checkov) into developer workflows

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Automation / Platform Engineering
  • Experience with one or more: Java, Python, or js
  • Strong background in CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and modern SDLC
  • Experience with tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Groovy, Shell/Bash
  • Docker, Helm, Terraform, AWS/GCP, Vault, Elastic Stack GitOps, Kustomize, Open Policy Agent (OPA) – a plus!
    Comfortable working with REST APIs, asynchronous testing, and cloud-native test strategies
  • Deep understanding of agile software delivery, including shift-left practices and test automation
  • Fluent in Hebrew and English

Advantages:

  • Built or extended test frameworks using tools like Pytest, Playwright, Jest, or Postman
  • Experience with SaaS reliability practices (SLI/SLOs, chaos engineering, auto-healing)
  • Familiarity with SBOMs, supply chain security, or DevSecOps tooling
  • Team player who values clarity, documentation, and cross-team collaboration
