We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer – OpenShift & Infrastructure to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes-based environments, along with expertise in infrastructure automation and Linux system administration. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our containerized platform and underlying infrastructure.
- Manage and administer Red Hat OpenShift 4.x and Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm charts.
- Implement and manage GitOps practices using tools like ArgoCD, FluxCD, or Tekton.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using HELM, Operators, and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenShift Logging.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices (RBAC, SCCs, PSPs).
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance across platforms.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to OpenShift and infrastructure services.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience managing OpenShift and Kubernetes in production.
- Strong background in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Experience with container runtimes: Docker, Podman, CRI-O.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, Ansible, HELM.
- Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes networking concepts: Ingress, CNI plugins, Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, etc.
- Strong understanding of RBAC, Security Context Constraints (SCCs), and container security principles.
Bonus points if you...
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with OpenShift Virtualization (CNV) or Advanced Cluster Management (ACM).
- Exposure to storage integration in container platforms (Ceph, GlusterFS, EBS).
- Knowledge of Service Mesh architectures.
