Avalanche Studios Group is looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong systems administration background for our next AAA game in Stockholm! This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked as a Systems Administrator and is looking for a path to the DevOps space. You'll manage and optimise our production infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance, supporting both internal needs and publisher integration.
You will prioritise project tickets and enhance production efficiency and security by collaborating closely with development and IT teams. You'll support CI/CD processes, manage P4 Source Code and the internal Needy repository, and handle storage and network tasks. This role reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager and works directly with game project teams.
What you'll do
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure infrastructure is scalable, reliable and secure
- Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD tools
- Implementing monitoring and alerting systems.
- Support Autobuilders, Autotesting and Devkit, including physical support from build engineers.
- Administer network security with firewall rules and allowlists.
- Assist IT support with playtest setup, town hall meetings, streaming setup, hardware troubleshooting, support tasks, configuration changes, and procurement if needed
Who you are
- Professional experience as a system administrator or DevOps engineer for at least 2 years
- Basics in configuration management tools (like Ansible, Puppet, Chef),
- CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI),
- Have worked with containerization technologies (like Docker, Kubernetes),
- Good knowledge in Cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, GCP),
- Monitoring and logging tools (like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Windows and Linux system administration skills
