As a Digital Flow Solutions Engineer at Cadence, you will be responsible for interacting with customers to understand their needs and provide guidance on digital reference flows, which include synthesis, floorplanning, clock tree synthesis, power planning, place and route, and timing closure. You will create baseline flows for customer use, perform digital place and route and sign-off on small customer designs, produce documentation, and optimize PPA (Performance, Power, Area). The role requires strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills, and an eagerness for continuous learning. Experience with EDA tools like Genus, Innovus, Tempus, and Voltus is essential.
Good To Have:- Experience with advanced nodes (7nm and below) is preferred.
Must Have:- Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of design/EDA experience or Master’s degree.
- Strong knowledge of Digital Design Fundamentals, Semiconductor Fundamentals, and Static Timing Analysis
- Prior experience with ASIC digital implementation flows and EDA tools is required.
- Good programming knowledge in Unix, Shell scripting, perl and importantly TCL
- Strong customer-facing communication and problem solving skills
