Under the direction of the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager manages the digital marketing activities and digital sales and marketing systems for the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) & Campus (Pride Park, Collins Canal Park, Rum Room, and Venu). The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the management of the digital signage assets and the digital sponsorship/advertising program on behalf of the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC). This position also manages the website and the functionality of the Booking System/CRM, and data analytics. This role requires an innovative, tech-savvy and analytical digital marketer.

This role will pay a salary of $80,000 to $90,000.

Digital Sales & Marketing Eco-System Management

  • Maintains and enhances the MBCC’s website, uploads and designs content, new pages, interactive features, digital collateral and integrates third party functionality and platforms such as interactive floorplans, AI (Artificial Intelligence) assistant, and online space booking (Momentus Technologies).
  • Manages Google Business platform, SEO and Google Search Ads (SEM).
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Manager on integrating social media marketing, and digital & print advertising for optimal lead generation, audience targeting, higher engagement, website traffic and goal conversions.
  • Creates and executes digital marketing campaigns.
  • Works with the IT department on integrating sales and marketing technology with overall business technology, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence tools.
  • Oversees the functionality and enhancements of the Momentus Technologies Booking / CRM platform and assists the DOSM and AGM in optimizing event booking data, calendar, and systems integrations across all departments.
  • Assists the DOSM in developing and implementing digital selling strategies via LinkedIn, Cvent, and emerging online platforms, including the implementation and usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and marketing plans to promote and sell the MBCC.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team at the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) to optimize and integrate digital sales and marketing tools and initiatives.


Digital Signage & Screens

  • Manages the MBCC’s digital signage as a resource for advertising and sponsorship activations, event-related information, citywide information and/or venue and campus information.
  • Develops and manages the fixed digital signage & screens assets program at the MBCC and develops revenue-generation plan for advertising and sponsorships.
  • Supervises the implementation, management and maintenance of the digital signage and digital advertising/sponsorship programs in collaboration with the venue’s operations and IT departments, the in-house A/V provider, outside vendors, procurement, and Sales & Marketing team members.
  • Manages licensed digital signage content management software to upload, operate, manage, and maintain digital advertising/sponsorship content, troubleshoots as appropriate, and coordinates with IT and A/V partners on technical hardware issues.


Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Provide analysis of web analytics, search trends, conversions, B2B/B2C behavior and data, and social insights to help inform the MBCC’s sales and marketing strategy.
  • Provide web and other digital insights to key organizational peers, using Google Analytics and other information available from digital platforms.
  • Remains current on national and international trends in the industry and local market changes to best serve the venue and campus.
  • Utilizes and generates dashboards and data visualization to analyze sales performance within Momentus Technologies/CRM and provides insights to the DOSM for strategy implementation and increased revenue generation.
  • Assists with monthly and annual data reporting and special data projects.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role fulfills supervisory duties in compliance with OVG360’s policies and relevant laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting interviews, hiring, and training staff; organizing, delegating, and overseeing tasks; evaluating performance; providing rewards and addressing disciplinary matters in coordination with Human Resources; handling complaints and resolving issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, marketing, digital media, communications, or data analytics. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in digital marketing, digital media or digital communications within the hospitality or related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with websites, CRM systems and digital eco-system management.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet these requirements may be substituted.

  • Extensive knowledge of website CMS (Drupal)
  • Proficiency with SEO, SEM and digital marketing platforms
  • Proficiency with analytics and data visualization tools (Excel/Tableau/Power BI).
  • Keen interest and basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
  • Basic HTML.

WORK SCHEDULE

The work schedule of this position typically involves a 5-day work week Monday through Friday; however, this will fluctuate based upon the needs of the community, a project and/or events. Must have the ability to remain available 7 days per week, work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Some travel as needed.
