Digital Marketing Manager, NA

Adyen is looking for a data-driven, proactive and collaborative digital marketing manager. This role will work from our San Francisco and report directly to the VP of Marketing, North America. 

The digital marketing role is focused on driving impact for Adyen’s acquisition efforts of new customers through marketing. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, setting up and optimizing targeted digital marketing campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels.

The ideal candidate is experienced with B2B performance marketing and fluent in working with revenue-based goals. This is a matrixed role collaborating across the North America region and Global Marketing teams to optimize Adyen’s impact through digital channels.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan, set-up and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, paid social and programmatic advertising to drive full funnel impact. 
  • Work closely with the North America marketing team and global revenue marketing team to implement and drive strategies to generate sales accepted opportunities. 
  • Handle local media buying through either direct deals and/or agencies. Manage digital agency relationship including campaign briefing, day to day communication, challenge media plans, campaign optimisation, budget allocation, evaluations.
  • Leverage analytics tools to determine effectiveness of campaigns across all channels.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies, including on-page optimization, keyword research, link building and creation of SEO-driven content (blog posts, articles, website copy).
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing community at Adyen to share experiments, learn from other markets, and accelerate your impact. 

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing role in the B2B industry focused on driving the acquisition of net new customers. Fintech experience is a plus. 
  • Strong background in SEM (both SEO and SEA) and other paid acquisition channels (Social, Programmatic).
  • Proven experience delivering creative and successful marketing campaigns to targeted audiences.
  • Data-driven, analytical mindset. Experience in working with data-driven optimizations. Experience with GA4, Looker, Marketo, Salesforce are a plus. 
  • Balance between strategic & hands-on: From developing a strategy to execution and optimization. 
  • You are a self-starting and self-motivated contributor with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20%+
