Onward Search seeks a strategic Digital Media Campaign Manager to lead the execution, optimization, and delivery of digital campaigns for their client's in-house advertising department. This full-time contract role (until May 2025, with potential extension) in Hoboken, NJ (hybrid), requires planning, executing, managing, and optimizing digital media campaigns across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include developing upper and lower-funnel campaign tactics, collaborating with internal teams, ensuring best practices, conducting quality control, optimizing campaign data, applying data controls, developing relationships with key teams, working with trafficking teams, and developing media plans. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years' experience in end-to-end digital media campaign management, paid media channels (display, mobile, social, search, programmatic), and proficiency in analytics tools.

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Digital Media Campaign Manager to lead the execution, optimization, and delivery of digital campaigns for our client’s in-house advertising department.  This role requires both a strategic and tactical mindset, with a strong ability to generate data-driven insights to enhance campaign performance. The ideal candidate will be skilled in client communication, campaign optimization strategies, and best practices in digital media.

This is a full-time project opportunity until May 2025 with the potential to extend. The role is in Hoboken, NJ, and is hybrid (1-2 days in-office & other days remote).

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, execute, manage, and optimize end-to-end digital media campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Develop and implement upper-funnel (brand awareness, calls to action) and lower-funnel (direct response, conversion) campaign tactics to drive performance.
  • Partner closely with internal teams, including account management, sales, and advanced analytics, to define key metrics and measure campaign success.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices throughout the entire digital campaign lifecycle, from setup to post-sale performance analysis.
  • Conduct quality control checks to validate accurate campaign implementation, pacing, and performance.
  • Collaborate with business partners and technology teams to optimize campaign data and generate valuable analytics.
  • Apply best-in-class data controls for tag deployment, data collection, and privacy protection.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal teams, establishing trust as a go-to resource for digital media strategy and campaign execution.
  • Work with trafficking teams to ensure accurate tag placement and campaign tracking.
  • Develop and deliver insight-driven media plans for new client opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in End-to-End Digital Media Campaign Management, Digital Media Planning, and handling media across multiple platforms.
  • Strong background in Paid Media channels such as Display, Mobile, Social, Search, and Programmatic advertising.
  • Proven expertise in campaign management, bid management, media buying, and optimization strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe, JIRA, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, and Tag Management Platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate campaign performance and insights to sales teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple campaigns, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
  • Ability to provide strategic recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and provide after-hours support on a rotational basis as needed.
