The Digital Print Technician will operate and maintain digital printing equipment to produce high-quality custom water bottles. Responsibilities include managing color profiles, inspecting products for quality, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with the design team, maintaining inventory, and keeping accurate records. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, focusing on color, adhesion, and contamination. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 2 PM to 10 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Print Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating digital printing equipment and a strong understanding of color management and design software. This role involves setting up, running, and maintaining digital printing machines to produce high-quality custom water bottles that meet our clients' specifications.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain digital printing equipment, ensuring efficient and accurate production of custom water bottles.
  • Manage color profiles and calibrations to ensure color accuracy and consistency across all products.
  • Inspect printed products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to printing equipment, software, or materials.
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement new design templates and enhance print quality.
  • Maintain inventory of printing materials and supplies, coordinating with the purchasing department as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of production runs and maintenance activities.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented and graphics background
  • Color management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to detect quality issues regarding, color, adhesion, contamination
  • Prior mechanical or assembly experience
  • Mechanically inclined and proven problem-solving skills
  • Present a strong customer service focus
  • Ability to multitask and change focus as needed
  • Knowledge of computers and MS office (excel and outlook)

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand and use hands for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
  • Ability to work in confined space
  • Hours: 2nd Shift 2pm – 10pm
