We're now looking for a Digital Producer to drive compelling content across websites and social media to enhance audience engagement and strengthen brand connection. You'll excel at creating and refining content for various digital formats, while bringing creative ideas to the table and collaborating with the team to bring them to life. You’ll be immersed in two of our key brands: Trackside, New Zealand’s beloved historic racing brand, and Sport Nation, the Kiwi voice of sport.

Where and how you can work...

We have offices expanding across multiple locations in New Zealand and Australia. This is a full time role based in our Auckland office.

We value a flexible work environment and while there will be opportunities to work remotely, this type of role is mostly based in the office or on location. You’ll need to thrive in a dynamic environment and be flexible across the week including weekdays, weekends, and some possible early mornings or late nights.

Your day-to-day...

• Identify great on-air content every day, then repurpose and distribute it onto a variety of digital platforms.
• Build brand awareness, drive user engagement, and increase social media following.
• Design and execute original video, news, and infographics content, based on New Zealand racing and sports news, opinion and analysis. 
• Produce online articles for Trackside, videos for social media platforms, and quote graphics for Instagram, Facebook and more.
• Support our broadcast teams whether they be on-site at race venues, in stadium, or back at base, capturing great content of all forms for digital distribution.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media.

You're a match if you have…

• A university qualification (or equivalent experience) in a journalism and/or communications field.
• Confidently writes desirable content across websites and social media platforms.
• Self-motivated and passionate, with the drive to work autonomously to meet deadlines.
• Ambition to develop graphic design skills with the ability to use Photoshop for making infographics and social tiles.
• Videography skills, or eagerness to learn, for video content creation across Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed for event coverage.
