Job Description

This role is a Digital Sales Representative focusing on the US Public Sector, specifically the Army. Responsibilities include developing and executing territory business plans, managing multiple sales opportunities, working with cross-functional teams, and serving as the primary customer contact. You will assist customers in identifying use cases for Google Cloud, articulate key differentiators, generate prospecting campaigns, and drive initiatives for increased Google product adoption. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of cloud or software sales experience, with a preference for 2+ years in enterprise technology or data center sales, and experience in public sector sales. Technical skills in platform and infrastructure-as-a-service are crucial, along with CRM system integration knowledge. The role requires managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience with cloud or software sales.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in enterprise technology or data center sales.
  • Experience prospecting into greenfield accounts.
  • Experience in CRM systems integration.
  • Experience promoting in the Public Sector.
  • Ability to communicate about platform and infrastructure-as-a-service, and perform technical qualification.
  • Ability to manage the entire business process from prospecting through close.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000-$141,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory business plan in partnership with field sales and build account plans across the public sector, resulting in a business growth pipeline and achieving quarterly business goals.
  • Manage multiple opportunities, work with cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary customer contact for all business/adoption-related activities, including agreement discussion.
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud deployment, articulate key differentiators, and typical customer journeys.
  • Generate prospecting campaigns at scale.
  • Drive initiatives for increased adoption, use, and growth of Google.
