Job Description
The Director, Creative Product Marketing at Jam City will lead collaborative efforts to optimize ad creative for mobile user acquisition campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of ad creative principles and top-of-funnel metrics (IPM, CPI, Retention). Responsibilities include communicating with executives, managing a team, adapting to market trends, working with Data Science to improve asset rotation and creative quality, leading creative testing strategies, understanding ASO metrics, forging new measurement approaches for brand creative, and motivating teams to maximize revenue. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile gaming, creative trends, and data-driven decision-making.

Job Details
You have a deep understanding of the core principles of what makes ad creative successful within mobile user acquisition campaigns, can effectively lead collaborative efforts with cross functional teams and thrive in an environment with imperfect data.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure top of funnel metrics (IPM, CPI, Retention) are optimized to achieve targets for each game
- Comfortable communicating to Executives and cross-functionally, providing regular status updates and progression towards a broader vision
- Experience managing others; motivating and identifying growth opportunities for junior team members and working on a plan to get them to fulfill their potential
- Quickly adapt to evolving creative market trends
- Creative Services lens: explain why an ad is working at scale, and help them understand how to drive incremental revenue by brainstorming around its core principles
- Work closely with Data Science to integrate systems for asset rotation and creative quality
- Lead Creative Testing - Pioneer creative testing strategy, execution and scale
- In addition to UA, understand ASO’s key success metrics and ensure CPM team is actively helping improve those metrics through strategic creative recommendations
- Forge new measurement approaches for Brand creative initiatives
- Motivate each team (CPM, Creative Services, UA) to be hyper focused on maximizing revenue
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be willing to work primarily PST hours
- Understands the “Why” behind everything - constantly apply learnings to everything we do
- Balances approach with respect to art and science
- Passionate about the mobile gaming space and creative trends
- Proactive in nature and generally curious
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for this role. The range listed is just one component of Jam City's total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. In addition, Jam City provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, life, disability, and accident insurance. Pay Range: $118,000 — $180,000 salary per year.
