The Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) - Artificial Intelligence (AI) Transformation office (focuses on making sure sellers, customers, and partners have the skills, systems, and tools to take share more effectively and efficiently. We drive scale and efficiency with prioritized solutions aligned with Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology (MCEM), regionalized marketing, and operational centers of excellence.

As a Director of Business Analytics, you will champion the vision and strategy by joining a team that generates transformative business insights through innovative data solutions. You will contribute to continuing the team’s progress toward being a recognized hub for forward-thinking in the field of intelligent insights. Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 7+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

   

  • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 5+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

     

  • OR equivalent experience.

• 6+ years of experience in developing Business Solutions using Data Analytics & Insights, including any of the following tools and technology: PowerBI, Data Analysis Expressions, PowerBI Desktop, start schema data modeling, or related.
• 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 6+ years experience understanding of development lifecycle of an Analytics platform & statistical skills and an orientation to discern pattern/trends from large volumes of data.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 10+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 7+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • OR equivalent experience.

• 9+ years experience within design business hypotheses, interpreting model results and communicating recommendations based on efficacy of application of analytics.
• 2+ years experience knowledge & experience working w/ Microsoft data lakes, Fabric, Copilot or analysis services is a plus.

Business Analytics IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $248,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $268,900 per year.

• Partner with a dedicated team of Business Intelligence professionals to deliver priority outcomes through insights, as per the strategic roadmap for various business functions.
• Own the end-to-end insights creation-to-consumption lifecycle, leading business problem definition, hypotheses formulation, designing and delivering the solution for our business stakeholders.
