About the Team:
AlphaSense Marketing is a revenue and pipeline focused marketing team that encompasses demand generation, product marketing, corporate communications, PR / AR, brand, customer marketing, content marketing, and events. At our core, we’re here to support AlphaSense’s growth, which we do by contributing to pipeline and revenue; developing a brand that’s widely known to the markets we serve; and encouraging user engagement both within our product and with our brand.
About the Role:
The Director of Event Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy to engage AlphaSense customers and prospects at tradeshows and conferences. Collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams, this role will be instrumental in executing an event strategy that develops leads, feeds the marketing funnel, builds pipeline and helps AlphaSense exceed revenue goals. This is a high-impact role focused on pipeline generation and deal acceleration.
Who You Are:
- 8+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in a B2B technology environment.
- Proven track record of successfully building and executing B2B tradeshows and conferences.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working alongside Sales, Customer Success, and other Marketing departments.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to measure event success and optimize future events based on analytics.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for building exceptional event experiences that drive results.
What You’ll Do:
- Tradeshow/Conference Strategy & Execution: Plan and execute a strategy which showcases AlphaSense as the industry leader to our prospects and customers, develops leads and generates pipeline.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and other Marketing teams to create cohesive event strategies that drive measurable results.
- Pipeline & Revenue Impact: Drive events that include elements of pipeline generation, accelerate existing pipeline, and support deal closures.
- Customer Loyalty: Create engaging event experiences that showcase the AlphaSense platform, provide opportunities for thought leadership, and catch the attention of AlphaSense prospects and customers.
- Budget Management: Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effective yet impactful experiences.
- Performance Analytics: Track and analyze key performance indicators for each event to measure success, refine strategies, and report on ROI.

Base Compensation Range*: $140,000 - $175,000
Additional Components: You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
