Position Overview:

We are looking for a forward-thinking and highly organized Director of Operations to oversee the end-to-end operations and technical infrastructure of our mixed reality attraction in Las Vegas. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of guest experience, operational excellence, and advanced technology. You will be responsible for people and culture, technical operations facilities, staffing, and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless performance and an unforgettable team experience. You will be a critical part of the senior team with growing the strategy, visibility and profitability of the attraction.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee back of house operations for a mixed reality attraction, ensuring smooth execution across all departments.
  • Manage and train technical Manager position 
  • Lead and develop on-site operations and tech teams, including training, shift management, and performance optimization.

  • Ensure uptime and reliability of all systems through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.

  • Work closely with corporate teams (creative, tech, and production) to implement software/hardware updates and improvements.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency response protocols.

  • Analyze operational and technical data to inform staffing, scheduling, guest flow, and maintenance schedules.

  • Oversee inventory management, including equipment, spare parts, and supplies.

  • Ensure all systems are compliant with health, safety, and building regulations.

  • Partner with finance and leadership to manage budgets, cost controls, and capital expenditure planning.



Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, technical production, or venue management, preferably in entertainment, theme parks, or immersive technology.

  • Strong knowledge of hardware/software systems, AV infrastructure, and guest-facing technology solutions.

  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale attractions or venues.

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience with safety protocols, facility operations, and maintenance best practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
