The Director of Product Marketing will lead the creation of high-impact content, develop market segment research and buyer persona insights, execute go-to-market strategies, partner with internal teams, collaborate with other teams to deliver programs, and train sales and partner teams. Responsibilities include crafting messaging, driving market share, and delivering compelling product messaging. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires excellent communication and organizational skills to influence stakeholders. The goal is to enhance brand awareness, support partnerships, and drive customer growth for the cloud security leader.

We are looking for an experienced Director of Product Marketing to join our team in San Jose, California. Reporting to the VP, Product Marketing, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the creation of high-impact content across multiple media formats (decks, website, digital assets, blogs, webinars, videos, and more) to influence prospects, customers, executives, sales, and partners
  • Developing and driving market segment research and buyer persona insights to craft targeted, differentiated messaging and positioning for Zscaler’s offerings
  • Executing cross-functional go-to-market (GTM) strategies that advance Zscaler’s leadership position in the market and drive increased market share
  • Partnering with internal teams (Product Management, GTM, Sales, and Channel) to deliver compelling product messaging and comprehensive content for high-visibility launches and events
  • Collaborating with design, sales enablement, demand generation, and other teams to deliver exceptional programs that generate pipeline and expand customer growth
  • Training and enabling the sales and partner teams to effectively communicate Zscaler’s differentiated value proposition

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 12+ years of enterprise product marketing experience within high-tech, focusing on cybersecurity, network security, networking, and infrastructure
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Creative mindset with strong analytical and planning skills, coupled with a collaborative work ethic
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization
  • Extensive experience in driving GTM strategies and crafting messaging for technical audiences

  • Hands-on experience in SaaS and cloud security marketing
