Sabre Payments business is growing rapidly and we are looking for a product leader to help us accelerate the evolution of our innovative payments hub designed to maximize value from every transaction. Sabre Payments allows our clients to collect pay-ins across channels with all the associated services and to pay-out to any supplier, anywhere, and integrate seamlessly into clients’ current workflows with the goal optimize every single step of payments
Role and Responsibilities
As Director, Payments Product, you will drive the execution of the strategy of Sabre’s payments product suite. You will lead a talented product management team to deliver seamless, secure, and efficient payment solutions across the travel ecosystem – from pay-ins to pay-outs , covering all different payment services. You will collaborate with different business areas and customers to define the vision and the strategy of the payments products. Your responsibilities will include integrating global payment gateways, orchestrators, fraud management systems, reconciliation, and payout suppliers within Sabre’s Payments Hub and how those services will be embedded across diverse booking and travel platforms. Your work will directly influence how millions of travelers and thousands of partners transact worldwide.
What will you achieve?
- Oversee lifecycle management for all payments products—including solution design, integration, and user experience for B2B and B2C channels
- Identify and prioritize new features based on market trends, customer feedback, and emerging regulatory requirements
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Commercial, Operations, Marketing) to identify and implement growth opportunities and the payments vision for Sabre
- Convert the vision into actual payment products that serve our customer base of airlines, travel agencies and hotels
- Network with the different areas within Sabre to embed payment products in Sabre Mosaic and Sabre Mosaic Marketplace applications
- Define how payments can best serve the transition to Offer Order Settlement Delivery framework
- Stay abreast of market trends to expand opportunities and address new partnership areas with expanded services
- Understand the market and define the strategy to keep a list of products and capabilities that provides the more comprehensive offering to customers
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product team

Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years as product Manager in travel and/or payments
- At least 5 years in Travel Payments
- Knowledge of data, AI products and payments optimization tools
- Understanding of the Travel Industry and indirect distribution dynamics
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with C suite leaders, internally and external
- Strong commercial acumen
- Customer focus mindset
- Exceptional communication ability
- Deep understanding of payment ecosystems (card-present/card-not-present, cross-border, FX, alternative payments)
- Strategic and Analytical thinking with willingness to challenge the status quo in order to make things happen
- Capable of managing and prioritizing several competing tasks

Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Online, Leisure and Business travel agencies
- Multilingual: Main Language: English. Spanish is a plus
