Job Description

The Disneyland Quality Engineering Internship (Fall 2025) offers a full-time opportunity to assist in various projects within the Strategic Sourcing department. Responsibilities include data analysis for cost reduction and value creation, liaison work between sourcing and clients, supporting sourcing projects (data analysis, supplier interface, eRFIs/eRFQs/eRFPs/eAuctions), external market assessment, opportunity analysis, stakeholder and supplier relationship management, contract implementations, and developing sourcing strategies. The internship runs from June to December 2025 in Anaheim, CA, and requires strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite), excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects independently.

About the Role & Program:

As a Strategic Sourcing intern, you will have the unique opportunity to assist with a variety of projects within our Strategic Sourcing department.  

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 - December 2025.

This is a full-time position, and interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.

This Internship is in Anaheim, CA.

What You Will Do:

As a Strategic Sourcing intern, you will have the unique opportunity to assist with a variety of projects within our Strategic Sourcing department.

On any given day you might:

  • Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation (improved quality, cost, service and compliance)
  • Perform liaison work between Strategic Sourcing and key clients, ensuring efficient supply chain methods
  • Provide support for sourcing projects, including data analysis and supplier interface, while developing and executing eRFIs/eRFQs/eRFPs/eAuctions
  • Perform external market assessment and opportunity analysis
  • Develop and manage stakeholder and supplier relationships and contract implementations
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies in alignment with business initiatives and priorities with an opportunity to facilitate supplier presentations and negotiations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
  • Professional demeanor, focused, articulate and well organized

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

It would be great if you have/are familiar with:

  • Previous Theme Park Work Experience
  • Familiarity with ASTM F24 Standards
  • Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Data Science & Analytics and/or Safety experience

Education:

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college/university, earning a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding)

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

• Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

• Fully available Monday thru Friday, PST for the duration of the internship,40 hours each week

 • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area

• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work


The pay rate for this role as an undergraduate in CA is $30.00 /hr. The pay rate for this role as a graduate student in CA is $35.00/hr.
