AriensCo, a global leader in outdoor power equipment, is seeking a Distribution Center Associate for their Shepherdsville, Kentucky facility. The role offers a starting pay of $18 per hour with guaranteed increases every six months until reaching $20 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM, for four 10-hour days. Responsibilities include picking, packing, and verifying orders, performing basic manifest duties, monitoring and storing packaging supplies, applying 6S principles to the work area, and other assigned duties. The position requires the ability to use basic hand tools, possess basic computer skills, and have foundational math and reading abilities. Employees must work safely and be capable of understanding standard work practices. The work environment involves standing/walking for at least 8 hours, wearing safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes, and working in varying temperature conditions. The associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 35 lbs. frequently, with the ability to push, pull, twist, reach, bend, and squat. Forklift certification (sit-down and stand-up) is also required.

Job Description:

AriensCo, a global leader in outdoor power equipment, has an exciting opportunity at their Shepherdsville, KY distribution center.

  • Pay:  Starts at $18/hour and you are guaranteed a $1/hour increase every 6 months until you reach $20/hour

  • Schedule & Shift:  Monday - Thursday (4 days x 10 hours) working 7am-5:30pm

THE DAY TO DAY…

  • Pick, pack and verify orders

  • Perform basic manifest duties

  • Monitor and store packaging supplies as required

  • Apply 6S principles to assigned work area

  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet customer needs

  • Be forklift certified (Sit down and Stand up only)

  • Work safely and consistently identify ways to make the workplace safer

THE QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Must be able to use basic hand tools

  • Basic computer skills; basic math and reading skills

  • Perform all job functions in a safe manner

  • Capable of understanding and following standard work practices

THE WORK ENVIRONMENT…

  • Required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection and safety shoes

  • Required to work in a hot and humid or cold environment

  • Required to stand/walk at least 8 hours per day

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, 35 lbs. frequently, push, pull, twist, reach, bend, squat
