Job Description

This role is for an Early Stage Designer focusing on story illustration and color key for the game Infinity Nikki, targeting 2026 autumn recruitment. Responsibilities include visual design for the game's NPC ecosystem, collaborating with planning and programming teams for concept development. The designer will plan camera colors, create keyframe art and scene atmosphere designs based on scripts and storyboards. Key tasks involve leading or participating in narrative art creation, such as continuous storyboard frames and animated cutscene CGs, while ensuring visual consistency within the game's worldview.
Good To Have:
  • Portfolio of storyboard design or illustration design (e.g., storyboard scripts, four-panel comics, atmosphere maps, illustrations)
  • Familiarity with 3D auxiliary tools like Blender is a plus
  • Understanding of game development processes, internship experience in game projects is a plus
Must Have:

Job Description

3. Lead/participate in story illustration creation, including but not limited to storyboard-style continuous frames, animated cutscene CGs, and other narrative art content;

4. Assist in building the game's worldview visual system, ensuring consistency in art style.

Job Requirements

1. Majors in Fine Arts/Animation/Digital Media Art or related fields are preferred;

2. Professional skill requirements:

  • Solid foundation in modeling and hand-drawing skills, proficiency in sketching, perspective composition, and color theory;
  • Familiarity with film and animation narrative language, mastery of performance rhythm and animation principles;
  • Proficiency in mainstream drawing software such as Photoshop and Procreate;

3. Bonus points:

  • Portfolio of storyboard design or illustration design (e.g., storyboard scripts, four-panel comics, atmosphere maps, illustrations);
  • Familiarity with 3D auxiliary tools like Blender is a plus;
  • Understanding of game development processes, internship experience in game projects is a plus;

4. Passion for game culture, good team collaboration awareness and communication skills.
