The ECO Administrator will manage HW Engineering Changes through the ECO Process, from introduction to deployment. Responsibilities include researching and documenting data, analyzing part usage and cost implications, and coordinating with various departments like Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing. The role involves ensuring the seamless implementation of design updates and monitoring the ECO implementation process. The candidate will also need to work on continuous improvement methodologies to improve efficiencies and quality of the ECO process.
Must have:
  • Experience with ECO/PLM software (SharePoint, Teamcenter preferred).
  • Experience with engineering software (Solidworks preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems (M2K, D365, or MAX preferred).
  • Experience in an ECO Process (creation, workflow, and implementation).
Good to have:
  • Experience interacting with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sourcing, Quality, Compliance, Field Service, ERP/Configuration, Marketing)
  • Experience working with and improving process documentation (Visio, process mapping).

Job Details

The candidate will be responsible for driving the implementation of HW Engineering Changes through the ECO Process from introduction to ERB through to deployment of the update. This includes researching, gathering, and documenting data related to the engineering change on the ECO.
Performs analysis for usage of parts affected and cause/effect of proposed changes, as well as understands lead times, cost of tooling changes, new parts, and/or rework of parts, and disposition of the change.
They will utilize knowledge of engineering design, manufacturing bill of materials (BOM), tooling, planning, and supply chain, as well as the Engineering and Production Schedules, to establish effective dates for incorporating changes.
This role will gather a cost-benefit analysis of requested ECO changes and ensure that the implementation of these changes is communicated and understood by the impacted departments within the organization.
Secures the external (vendor) implementation plan via follow-up with stakeholders, including Sourcing, Purchasing, Supplier, and Supplier Quality, to ensure seamless L4 integration or L5 implementation of design update. Works with AME/ERP and Field Services to ensure proper implementation of updates on WIP, Stock, and Field product as needed.
Monitors and ensures all required ECO implementation signoffs are obtained.
Works with Compliance and HW to facilitate the ECO submission workflow.
 

What You'll Do

  • Experienced using a variety of software applications - ECO / PLM specific (SharePoint, Teamcenter preferred),

  • engineering specific (Solidworks preferred), ERP specific (M2K, D365, or MAX preferred),

  • Experienced in an ECO Process – Creation, workflow process, requirements, and implementation/disposition.

  • Experience interacting with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sourcing, Quality,

  • Compliance, Field Service, ERP/Configuration, Marketing)

  • Experience working with and improving process documentation (Visio, process mapping)

  • Apply continuous improvement methodology that improves efficiencies and quality of the ECO process.

What We're Looking For

  • BS in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering), or 5 years applicable experience

  • Previous experience in engineering, quality, or manufacturing roles. Preferably, experience working with Gaming Equipment

  • Knowledge of software tools used (Microsoft Office, PLM, Solidworks, ERP systems, Teamcenter, D365 preferred)

  • Effective communication skills (written and oral)

Pay Range

$84,000 - $156,000 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
