About the role and the business unit
Springer Health+ Spain provides Medical Communications services to the local Spanish affiliates of global pharmaceutical companies, as well as to the head office of those Pharma companies who have their Global HQs in the country.
Our dedicated team of sales, operations and editorials staff oversee the production of a full range of deliverables, including scientific papers and manuscripts, medical education including videos, e-learning, podcasts and live meetings, advisory boards, clinical meeting reports and many other forms of medical writing and scientific content.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing scientific projects and content as assigned, mostly involving digital projects. This includes writing or editing of pharma and medical education or scientific pieces, eLearning content, and slide presentations across several therapeutic areas
Provide scientific support and input across a range of therapy areas (internally and externally) and quickly develop understanding of new therapy areas
Manage internal and external medical writers or thought leader contributors to ensure that content developed is of the highest editorial quality, and in alignment with client expectations and medical/legal/regulatory requirements and processes
Resolve content-related queries from the client
Participate in brainstorming new product lines and digital solutions
Contribute to process improvements related to creation and maintenance of projects
Project costing and pricing, ensuring profitability is in line with management requirements (with Production)
Management of external providers, including cost management
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
BS/BA in a scientific discipline (or licensed certification), masters or higher preferred
Experience working with pharmaceutical industry
Experience or formal education on digital edition
High level of english
Collaborator, with a full understanding of the importance of team work and of reporting lines
Good service attitude with respect to clients and colleagues
Problem solver
Adaptable, with ability to respond to different situations as they arise
