In this pivotal role you will take charge of insulation sizing, specifications, qualification, and data analysis all while collaborating with a global, multidisciplinary team. Your role will directly contribute to advancing cutting edge powertrain systems, driving innovation, performance, and reliability.
- Lead design, development and optimization: harness your expertise to design and optimize motor insulation systems, ensuring they meet the highest performance and reliability standards for our electric motors.
- Work closely with suppliers to troubleshoot challenges and conduct in-depth failure mode analysis throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams on quality assurance and development of production guidelines, tests, and standards.
- Leverage data to drive innovation: use advanced analytics tools like SQL and Python to extract, analyze and interpret datasets, uncovering critical insights that fuel informed decisions.
- Build bridges across disciplines: partner with global cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts delivering data driven solutions.
- Background in Electrical Engineering.
- Expertise in insulation materials and electrical tests for electric motors.
- Understanding of various statistical techniques to effectively summarize data findings.
- A passion and curiosity for data and data-driven decision making.
- Automotive motor design expertise is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL and strong proficiency in Python is considered a plus.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
