Job Description

The Email Marketing Campaign Associate will work with Account Managers, Developers, and Creative teams to launch and manage email campaigns. They will develop and maintain an email marketing strategy, analyze the competitive landscape, and oversee email production. Responsibilities include reporting on results, conducting performance analysis, and problem-solving deliverability issues. The ideal candidate will have a digital marketing background and experience with consumer behavior-based workflows, journey building, and retention strategies. They must possess strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills. They will also be responsible for managing special email requests for clients and coordinate timeline and deliverables.
Must have:
  • 1+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in email marketing.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Adept at spotting consumer behavior patterns and making data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with consumer behavior-based workflows and journey building.
  • Understand email marketing principles and best practices.
  • Experience navigating multiple ESPs and fluency with basic email system architecture.
  • Ability to analyze data and make daily, data-driven decisions.
  • Attention to detail while understanding big-picture objectives.
  • Self-starter who excels at multi-tasking.
  • Ability to communicate and work in a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Good to have:
  • Comfortable editing and reviewing HTML & CSS.
  • Proficient in Tableau and/or other web analytics experience.

Job Category

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our Email team as an Email Marketing Campaign Associate. The candidate should have a digital marketing background and/or should have successfully developed, maintained, and optimized email marketing campaigns. This is a unique opportunity to build a career in digital marketing, working directly with industry experts and senior leadership.
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally with Account Managers, Developers, and Creative teams to launch, test and manage emails campaigns
  • Define, manage and maintain a best-in-class email marketing strategy
  • Assess competitive landscape by examining email strategies of key competitors and the overall industry to understand emerging trends
  • Oversee email production process and creation of every email, ensuring flawless execution
  • Ensure email messages are properly constructed, are 100% compliant and adhere to industry best practices
  • Report on results on a daily basis and provide insights and recommendations to leadership team
  • Conduct routine analysis of campaign performance and develop testing plans to continuously improve KPIs
  • Problem-solve deliverability issues, including detailed analysis of bounces, spam complaints, opt-outs and ISP server responses
  • Manage special email requests for clients and coordinate timeline and deliverables
  • Forecast and track projections against targets

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in digital marketing preferred, strong preference in email marketing
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Adept at spotting consumer behavior patterns and making data-driven decisions
  • Tactical, hands-on experience with consumer behavior-based workflows, journey building, and retention strategies
  • Understand email marketing principles and best practices that meet industry standards
  • Have experience navigating multiple ESPs, and fluency with basic tenets of email system architecture
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze data and be extremely comfortable making daily, data-driven decisions
  • Attention to detail in producing deliverables while understanding big-picture objectives and strategy
  • Must be a self-starter who excels at multi-tasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate and work in a cross-functional team environment to achieve common objective
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks with minimum supervision and shift workload to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable editing and reviewing HTML & CSS is preferred
  • Proficient in Tableau and/or other web analytics experience is strongly preferred

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 USD to $70,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
