We are looking for an Embedded Engineer II, responsible for End to End Test Solution for VALFAC Simulation benches for product families EPIC / APEX FMS, FC, Display Units, CIS-MS, CMF and Anthem / UAM. Electronic Test team is responsible for electronic test activities on an avionics engineering program(s). The Embedded Engineer II works in System Design, Aircraft Model / ICD, core architecture, development of effective test solution and integration. Embedded Engineer II plays a key role in application of test solution during Engineering development, certification & production of Honeywell Avionics
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute and lead Requirements analysis, Requirements decomposition
- Understand the Aircraft model, ICD information and how it applies to Honeywell products / systems
- Create robust VALFAC Simulation benches for product families EPIC / APEX FMS, FC, Display Units, CIS-MS, CMF and Anthem / UAM.
- Leverage principles of Simulation Model based development system design, Systems integration, Systems validation & verification, certification
- Contribute to RDE transformation for NPD (New Product Development) through agile and cost-effective test solution
- Work with stakeholder to understand the project requirements, define overall vision, effectively communicate ideas and solutions to teams.
- Champion new ideas and lead them to realize the concepts.
- Proactively connect with users and collaborate with product teams to understand the overall test solution needs
- Work as champion in technologically highly complex system with multiple constraints and take smart risks
- Project coordination, Budget/schedule responsibility – Awareness only
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 3+ years of industry experience in Avionics Domain with hand-on experience in Test Solution development.
- B.E./B.TECH or equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
- Strong working knowledge on Database (Oracle or equivalent), Queries, programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience on software & system requirements, development, design and implementation, software and system testing, Tools development and delivery artifacts
- Working knowledge on Simulation tools
- Go-getter attitude and ability to maneuver in complex, abstract and dynamic business scenarios
- Prior hands-on experience on test solution
- Strong communication and presentation skills
