Engineer - GISOCC R&D DSIS

Responsibilities

As a Application Tester of  COE CPM GISOCC team, you will be responsible to :

• Master the STR applications you will be assigned to

  • You should perfectly know the STR applications (functional and technical)

  • You should understand all the process and logics which are developed in the applications 

  • You should know all technical documents

  • You should understand the interactions between the products in your scope and the other products

• Ensure application free of bugs

  • You should analyze bugs raised by our key users network

  • You should raise the JIRA ticket (with 5W2H approach) of issues that requires our partner’s expertise

  • You should push for ticket resolution and implementation from our partner

  • You should prepare and participate to tickets review with our partner

• Ensure test cases execution on new releases

  • You should contribute to test cases writing and update defined in the standard template

  • You should contribute to the automation of the test cases led by the testing team

  • You should run test cases and non regression testing on any new release or hotfix being loaded in Production

  • You should report and document all fail test cases and coordinate with the partner to get them fixed

  • You should maintain the functional specification in case of gaps during the testing (updates being validated by PO)

  • You should maintain the operating procedure and service request procedure documents

• Coordinate with the Product owner

  • You should report any blocking/major issues which are not under control to your product owner

  • You should participate to Product owner coordination meeting

  • You should provide some metrics on your activities (mainly JIRA metrics) 

Test Activities :

● Report progress / completion of testing to Delivery Manager (including KPIs, deliverables…)

● Establish testing Strategy and prepare requirement for test preparation (environments, profiles, validation

criteria)

● Perform Functional test cases, Business user acceptance tests and contribute to performance tests with

Sysops teams

● Contribute to the control, plan, the monitoring and reporting of testing activities

● To ensure continuous efficiency improvement on tests

● To ensure data quality of the application

● To collaborate with cybersecurity team to ensure the compliance of testing strategy with Group Standards

Apply, (communicate and ensure if manager) the compliance with the procedures, Environmental, Safety and Security good practices and cyber-security, to know, for their activities and the activities of subcontractors, the potential risks and their consequences, be attentive and be reagent and know the associated action plans.
