DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Development on new applications, providing research into new technologies

  • Development on contributions to Nintendo's core libraries and tools

  • Writes correct and clean code to defined specifications

  • Debugs code effectively within primary area

  • Effectively and proactively documents work

  • Collaborates with peer groups at Nintendo Co., Ltd. (NCL) and its subsidiaries

  • Participates as a key contributor to the hiring process

  • Up to 10% travel; domestic and international

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years related experience

  • Proficiency with C++ is a requirement

  • Solid knowledge of application software design

  • Experience with Linux development is a requirement

  • Experience with audio/video streaming (such as webrtc) is a plus

  • Experience with Qt (or other UI framework) is a plus

  • Performs code reviews, technical design reviews, and test plan reviews

  • Scopes and executes delivery of modules involving multiple engineers

  • BS or MS in engineering or equivalent

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.

This position includes a base salary range of $115,152 - $172,728 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
