YOUR TASKS
Conducting patent searches in the course of patent assessment “development projects”, to detect potential patent infringements by our own products (mainly), but also to assess inventiveness of own developments, as well as for questioning the validity of 3rd Party patents.
Examining the search tasks on completeness and clarifying the extent of the search tasks with the development sections and patent experts from the global patent team.
Conducting searches in internal and external databases and preparing the search results as to technical pertinence and patent law.
Accomplishing the search report and distributing it to the patent expert in charge.
Competitor patent search/watch to understand industry trends and proactively identify and communicate relevant disruptive trends to the respective development teams and leadership.
Participating in the process optimization of all CPL processes concerning search and internal patents databases
You will be part of a global highly competent team in a challenging industry having challenging tasks in securing own IP, avoiding IP infringements, and giving strategic guidance based on patents. The results of the search team will directly affect in- and out-licensing activities, product strategy, and acquisitions of companies and technologies.
Your Qualifications
- BE /B. Tech/ M.E/ M. Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electrical 4 to 6 years of experience. Good written and verbal communication.
