Job Description

Ajmera Infotech seeks an experienced Engineering Lead with 10+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, and leadership. This role involves managing multiple engineering projects across time zones, developing and reviewing architecture diagrams, collaborating with various teams, providing technical guidance in Python and JavaScript, overseeing network security, managing containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes), deploying cloud solutions (AWS, Azure), and leading AI/ML projects using LLMs and deep learning. Responsibilities include ensuring timely project delivery, aligning with business goals, implementing secure designs, optimizing cloud solutions, and integrating machine learning models into production environments.

Must have:

10+ years software development/ML experience
Expertise in Python & JavaScript
AI/ML experience (LLMs, deep learning)
Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead with a strong background in software engineering, machine learning, and leadership. This role requires a seasoned professional who can work effectively across various time zones, managing complex projects and guiding a team of developers to deliver top-quality solutions. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for system architecture, is highly skilled in software design, and can communicate technical requirements clearly to drive development.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple engineering projects across time zones, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

Architecture & Design: Develop and review high-level architecture diagrams, design models, and flow charts to ensure technical alignment with project requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

Technical Guidance: Provide expert-level technical guidance in Python and JavaScript development to the engineering team.

Network & Security: Oversee the integration of secure network designs, implementing best practices in security for applications and data. Ensure the protection of data by enforcing industry-leading encryption, authentication, and authorization methods.

Containerization & Orchestration: Manage the deployment of solutions in containerized environments using tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Leverage orchestration tools to improve deployment efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Cloud Solutions: Manage and deploy applications in cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Optimize cloud-based solutions for performance and cost, while ensuring robust backup and disaster recovery practices.

AI & ML: Lead AI and machine learning projects, particularly focusing on the application of large language models (LLMs) and deep learning architectures. Work with data scientists and engineers to implement machine learning models into production environments.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years in software development and/or machine learning projects, particularly managing teams across multiple time zones.
Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript programming, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
Solid experience in AI/ML, with hands-on knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and deep learning frameworks. Experience with Node-RED is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing complex cloud solutions, especially in AWS and Azure.
Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
In-depth understanding of network security best practices, including secure application design and data protection.

Preferred Skills

Machine Learning: Familiarity with LLMs, deep learning architectures, and the broader ML model lifecycle.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to bridge communication between technical and non-technical team members.
Continuous Improvement: Proactive mindset towards optimizing processes, enhancing workflows, and ensuring high-quality code delivery.
