As an Engineering Manager for the Notebook Dataplane team at Databricks, you will lead the team responsible for running user code within Notebooks. This role involves driving an architectural transformation to establish a stateful user code execution service, providing reliable and low-latency support for Serverless products. In this role, you will lead the Notebook Dataplane team, which is responsible for running user code in the Notebook. We are undergoing an exciting architecture transformation to run stateful user code as a service for the product teams, providing a reliable and low-latency service for the Serverless products. A strategic investment area for the company. As the Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the technical vision, architecture, and execution for the service. You will lead a team of software engineers and recruit new team members to realize the vision.
