Job Description

As an Engineering Program Manager, you will work with engineering teams to deliver the technology behind Apple's ML feature development. This involves building relationships with partner organizations, providing clear and timely communication, and managing project timelines. You will coordinate discussions, drive alignment, and ensure on-time delivery. Key responsibilities include identifying development needs, establishing checkpoints, tracking risks, and proactively finding solutions. The role requires teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to manage complex issues to ensure successful project outcomes for Apple's ML annotation and visualization tools.

Job Details

You will partner with engineering teams to deliver the technology that powers Apple’s ML feature development, all while contributing to a positive work culture. Apple’s annotation & visualization teams build the tools that allow machine learning engineers and researchers across Apple to create datasets that enable the amazing intelligent experiences on our current and future Apple devices. Your role will include the following responsibilities: - Build relationships and collaborate with partner organizations relevant for a project - Provide clear, timely and objective communication, including regular program status updates and critical issues as needed to executive team - Coordinate discussions and break down complex issues into discussion topics to drive engineering and design alignment with support from project team, maintaining an orientation toward teamwork and collaboration - Create and manage project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status. Manage risks and mitigations, and re- plan as events warrant. Drive alignment across the organization and between teams - Drive on time delivery and deployment, identifying development and feasibility needs, establishing achievements for checkpoints and status updates - Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources vital to attack and resolve. Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks and track risks to schedule and product quality, including cross-functional dependencies
