Job Description

Keywords Studios is seeking experienced technical translators to join their growing global team. As a freelance translator, you will be responsible for translating technical content from English to European Spanish. This role requires a strong proficiency in both English and European Spanish, as well as a minimum of 4 years of full-time experience as a freelance translator within the tech industry. You will also need experience with Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) and localization, with a passion for video games being a plus. This is a remote, freelance position with flexible working hours.

Must have:

Strong proficiency in English and European Spanish
Minimum 4 years experience as freelance translator in tech
Minimum 3 years MTPE experience
Expertise in localization and video games
Proficient computer skills and translation tools

Description

Are you interested in joining a leading international service provider with studios across Asia, Europe, North, and South America?

We are currently in the process of expanding our pool of #technical translation providers and we are looking for professional, experienced company/team to become members of our growing global team.

Candidates who meet the basic eligibility requirements will be asked to fill our entry form and work on a translation test that will be reviewed by our translation leads. After successful completion of the selection process, qualified candidates will be onboarded and join our network of freelance translators or agencies.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in the Source Language-English
Extensive knowledge of the Target language-European Spanish
Minimum of 4 years’ full-time experience as a freelance translator within the tech industry
Minimum of 3 years experience in MTPE
Expertise in #MTPE and #localization; a passion for video games is a plus
Proficient computer skills, including experience with translation tools and TM/terminology management
Professional affiliation is a plus
