About the job:
As an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Program Manager at Google, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs for our industrial facilities in The Netherlands. You will also work closely with local authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. The role involves managing EHS program and projects within scope/budget/schedule and quality expectations. You will also be responsible for driving the active maintenance of the site’s ISO 14001 certification.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management
  • Managing EHS compliance for industrial facilities in The Netherlands
  • Fluent communication in Dutch
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Environmental Management or related field
  • BSCP, NEBOSH, or equivalent certification
  • Experience in data centers and electrical safety
  • Experience with ISO 14001, 50001, and Seveso
  • Knowledge of Dutch EHS regulations
  • Ability to communicate with authorities on EHS matters

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management, and managing EHS compliance for industrial facilities in The Netherlands.
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch fluently in order to communicate with local authorities on regulatory requirements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Environmental Management or related field.
  • BSCP, NEBOSH, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in data centers and electrical safety.
  • Experience with ISO 14001, 50001, and Seveso.
  • Knowledge of Dutch EHS regulations.
  • Ability to communicate with authorities on EHS matters.
