Title: ERP Change Control (ECC) Engineer – PSO – Hardware and Lifecycle Engineering

Location: Cebu, Philippines

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

The ERP Change Control Analyst will be based at our Cebu office in Philippines and will be a part of a globally distributed team. This position provides excellent experience and career path in solution provision and integration. Provides key linkage between Engineering, Product Management (PM), Order Management and other functions in terms of managing configuration logic. The primary responsibility of this position is to review, monitor & implement the engineering changes as they relate to the Oracle ERP product configurator. It requires analytical skills to review the engineering change orders that impact product structure and logic. This includes entire product structure creation during NPI as well as ongoing product maintenance in lifecycle. This would also include analysis of the released product structure for gaps and drafting RFCs to correct or improve product logic to prevent invalid or illogical configurations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and understanding the engineering changes being released through DR (DR - Development Release – also referred to as ECO) in terms of product logic and structure.
• Analyzing changes on DRs that could generate logic issues or supply chain issues.
• Coordinating with Engineering, PM & the hardware supplier teams to address any queries in the DR which are not manageable within NCR Voyix's ERP configurator system.
• Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) product structure set-up to meet aggressive project timelines.
• Using constructive escalation to address any specific delays in getting logic changes implemented on priority.
• Responding within expected Service Level Agreement (SLA) during Expedite PID (Product ID) process.
• Integrating basic principles, theories, concepts of professional field with procedures and activities within own work area.
• Analyzing Issues and solving problems. Proven ability to recognize symptoms and that indicate problems. Makes timely decisions on problems/issues requiring immediate attention.
• Comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
• Communicating effectively - Clearly conveying information and ideas through email / meetings to individuals or groups.
• Adapting readily - Demonstrating the ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude when encountering changes in the workplace. Invites feedback and learns from missteps (i.e.: Seeks to understand changes; maintains positive attitude when dealing with change; makes appropriate behavioral adjustments when needed.)
• Seeking customer satisfaction. Tracks performance and solicits feedback from customer to ensure problems are resolved.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS Engineering Degree, IT or related course.
• Strong interpersonal skills and highly motivated
• Highly organized and ability to follow processes and procedures
• Effectively manage changes, stress, and ambiguity
• Written and verbal communications in English
• Willingness to work in shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient with Software applications like MS Excel, MS Outlook, Oracle ERP
• Knowledge in MS Excel Macro / SQL DB maintenance would be an added advantage
