Summary

This role involves leading and delivering Oracle ERP/FIN projects, leveraging methodologies to transform client businesses. Responsibilities include workstream leadership, quality assurance, solution documentation (functional specifications), configuration/build of Oracle ERP/FIN solutions, participation in design discussions, technical specification detailing, effort estimation, deliverable management, data migration, issue resolution, and post-go-live support. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 full lifecycle implementations covering ERP Financials or Projects modules and experience with multiple Oracle modules. The position requires strong problem-solving, meeting facilitation, presentation, and client relationship skills. Travel within the UK and potentially internationally is required.

Job Description & Summary

A career in our Finance team, within our Oracle consulting practice, will provide you with the opportunity to help organizations use enterprise technology to achieve their digital technology goals and capitalise on business opportunities. We help our clients implement and effectively use Oracle offerings to solve their business problems and fuel success in the areas of finance, operations, human capital, customer, and governance, risk and compliance.

As part of our finance team, you’ll focus on providing the support companies need in their Finance Transformation journey enabled by Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM. You will be part of a team that helps clients rethink their Finance functions as they leverage new Cloud technology including RPA, Machine Learning and Analytics in conjunction with their ERP platform. You will bring a blend of process and technology expertise to create the next generation Finance function.

As an Oracle ERP/FIN Consultant, you will play a key role in the following areas:

  • Delivering projects focused on Oracle ERP or Oracle FIN technology.

  • Using our industry leading methodologies to transform client’s businesses. 

  • Being available to travel to client sites anywhere in the UK, and potentially internationally.

  • Where needed, carry out additional responsibilities such as; business case development, requirements gathering, workshop delivery, business process design, functional and technical design, vendor selection, systems build, test and deploy, stakeholder management, change management, people/line management.

Role Requirements:

  • Ability to perform in a workstream lead role, organising, mentoring and providing quality assurance on deliverables

  • Responsible for the creation of quality solution documentation, including,  Functional specifications

  • Responsible for the Configuration /  build of Oracle ERP/FIN solutions

  • Expert in Oracle ERP/FIN and integrated modules / products 

  • Participate in design discussions with client and lead design and process discussions

  • Support the evaluation of the solution scenarios 

  • Detailing of the technical specifications required to deliver the functional requirements of the solution

  • Ability to provide estimation of effort for technical developments

  • Ability to manage the stream deliverables

  • Responsible for data migration and cutover topics for the stream

  • Responsible for issue resolution post go-live and transition to support

Essential skills & attributes:

  • A minimum of 4 full lifecycle implementation projects covering ERP Financials or Projects modules. 

  • Implementation experience of 4 or more Oracle modules in the relevant area.

  • Demonstrable experience in several of the following activities on ERP projects; requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, solution design, functional configuration. conference room pilots / prototype demonstrations, testing, Integration, data migration, training, post ‘go live’ support.

  • Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills

  • Strong meeting facilitation/presentation skills

  • Strong client relationship skills
