Job Description

Join AriensCo Hospitality's dynamic events team as an Event Support Staff member. This hands-on role involves serving guests, setting up and tearing down event spaces, and providing general event support. Ideal candidates are customer service-oriented, organized, energetic, and willing to work nights and weekends. Responsibilities include greeting guests, delivering food and beverages, clearing tables, and maintaining venue cleanliness. Setup duties involve arranging tables, chairs, and decor, and assisting with audio/visual equipment. The role requires flexibility, strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Job Description:

Join our dynamic events team where no two days are the same! In this hands-on role, you’ll help bring events to life by serving guests, setting up and tearing down meeting spaces, and other general event support. If you're customer service oriented, organized, energetic, and ready to roll up your sleeves—especially on nights and weekends—this is the perfect opportunity to be part of something exciting and impactful!

THE DAY TO DAY...

Event Server (Primary Role):

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout the event

  • Deliver food and beverages according to AriensCo Hospitality standards, ensuring presentation and timing are flawless

  • Communicate dietary restrictions or allergies to kitchen staff promptly

  • Clear tables, refresh beverages, and anticipate guest needs to ensure a positive experience

  • Collaborate with the kitchen, bartenders, and fellow servers to maintain seamless service

  • Uphold cleanliness and professionalism in all service areas throughout the event

Event Setup (As Needed):

  • Set up tables, chairs, linens, décor, and other items to match event specifications and layouts

  • Ensure table settings are neat, aligned, and aesthetically consistent.

  • Assist with audio/visual, lighting, signage, or special equipment setup as directed

  • Reset and tear down spaces after events, organizing and storing equipment properly

General Event Support (As Needed):

  • Maintain venue cleanliness, including wiping surfaces, removing trash, and cleaning spills

  • Support safety and guest experience by identifying hazards and addressing issues quickly

  • Work under the direction of the Event Manager or Operations Lead and support teammates across roles

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Diligence and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Frequently lifts/carries up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8‐hours in length

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Ability to perform under stress

  • Flexible work schedule to include nights and weekends
