Job Description

The Expert Rendering Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, profiling, and optimizing existing rendering systems across PC and consoles. They will design and develop new rendering solutions for open-world environments, prototype and integrate next-gen technologies, and work closely with art teams to provide visually appealing and performant solutions. This role requires extensive experience in graphics programming and a strong understanding of GPU and CPU architecture, multithreaded programming, and low-level graphics APIs. They should possess excellent communication skills, a sense of ownership, and a proactive attitude. The engineer will be a part of the Rendering department and will be working closely with content teams. The engineer will be creating new technology and leveraging existing ones to realize AAA-quality visuals.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of industry experience
  • Fluent C++ and graphics programming experience
  • Knowledge of GPU and CPU architecture
  • Multithreaded programming experience
  • Experience with low-level graphics API
  • Experience with low-level profiling and optimization
  • Familiarity with physically based rendering
  • Practical raytracing experience
  • Effective communication skills
Good to have:
  • Shipped at least one game title
  • Working with console graphics stack
  • Published papers/articles
  • Passion for playing video games

Job Description:

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for an Expert Rendering Engineer to join the development of a new IP.

As a member of the Rendering department, you’ll work closely with content teams to push our rendering systems to new heights of performance and visual fidelity, creating new technology and leveraging existing ones to realize AAA-quality visuals.

You’ll help us by…

· Maintaining, profiling and optimizing existing rendering systems across PC and consoles

· Designing and developing new rendering solutions for open-world environments

· Prototyping and integrating next-gen technologies

· Working closely with art teams to provide good looking and performant solutions

You’re awesome because you have…

· 7+ years of industry experience

· Fluent C++ and in-depth experience with graphics programming

· Professional knowledge of GPU and CPU architecture

· Comprehensive multithreaded programming experience

· Solid experience with one or more low-level graphics API

· Experience with low-level profiling and optimization

· Familiarity with physically based rendering

· Practical raytracing experience

· Effective communication skills, responsibility and sense of ownership

· A proactive attitude towards helping the team to get their work done faster and more efficiently

Bonus points for…

· Shipped at least one game title

· Working with console graphics stack

· Published papers/articles

· Passion for playing and dissecting video games
