The Facility Designer at Shanghai Disney Resort provides architectural and engineering support to various Engineering Services teams.  Responsibilities include supporting building construction, area development, testing and commissioning, identifying maintenance tools, writing safety procedures, researching shop drawings, resolving construction issues, ensuring compliance with China GB codes, and using CAD for design and documentation.  The role requires collaboration with engineers, contractors, and internal teams, as well as troubleshooting technical problems and proposing solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in architecture or engineering, proficiency in CAD and other design software, excellent communication skills, and experience with theme park development.

By ensuring the smooth operation of every magical experience and contributing to our many industry awards and honors, you will help carry forward Disney’s spirit of craftsmanship.Job Summary: This position will be responsible for providing architectural and engineering support and technical expertise to the various Engineering Services (maintenance) teams at the Shanghai Disney Resort. This position will primarily be focused on Buildings (interior and exterior), Area Development, and all architectural and engineering detailing for these items.
