Field Engineer

The candidate will:
Execute software front-ends (GUI or command line) in a field warehouse setting
Troubleshoot software execution issues in real-time
Collaborate with a broader software engineering team on issue diagnosis or potential improvements
Manage the quality of execution in real time
Deploy arrays of sensors into industrial warehouse settings

The candidate should have:
4+ years of experience
Willingness to travel to field sites
Ability to unpack, assemble, disassemble, and transport technical equipment
Experience with Linux / Bash / Zsh
Strong documentation skills

Bonus points for:
Familiarity with any of the following ecosystems: Optitrack, Manus/StretchSense/Rokoko, AR/VR headsets, Zed cameras
Basic Python scripting ability
Experience with AWS CLI and basic cloud services
Experience with hardware communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
Experience deploying sensor arrays or IoT devices
Experience with industrial automation or warehouse systems
Experience with real-time monitoring tools
Experience with remote system administration
Experience writing technical documentation or deployment guidesE

Experience with machine shop tools

Salary Range: $100,000-115,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
