Job Description

The Field Engineer/Technical Sales role involves collaborating with the sales team to develop sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical support and discussions with clients. Key responsibilities include engaging with clients to understand their requirements, building relationships, and coaching partner sales teams. The role also involves contributing to software improvement based on field feedback. The candidate will also be responsible for providing on-site technical support to clients and partners, ensuring seamless implementation and integration, and working closely with partner sales teams to help achieve their sales goals and objectives. The job also involves coaching and mentoring partner sales teams and conducting knowledge transfer sessions to empower partners with the skills required for successful sales engagements.
Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
  • Proficiency in English is a requirement.

To be successful in this position, we expect you to leverage and be a critical asset in the following areas:


    • Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with the broader sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
    • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and contribute to building a robust sales pipeline.

    • Technical discussions:
    • Leverage in-depth technical knowledge of our Industrial SaaS and its applications in oil & gas domain to conduct technical discussions with clients and convince clients of our value proposition 
    • Provide on-site technical support to clients and partners, ensuring seamless implementation and integration

    • Partner Sales Collaboration:
    • Work closely with partner sales teams to help achieve their sales goals and objectives.
    • Support partners in incorporating our software solutions into their sales motions effectively

    • Customer Engagement:
    • Engage directly with clients to understand their specific technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction.

    • Coaching:
    • Coach and mentor partner sales teams, imparting technical knowledge and sales strategies
    • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to empower partners with the skills required for successful sales engagements

    • Collaboration with product organization:
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software solutions based on field feedback

Qualifications and key criteria

    • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering)
    • Experience in technical sales within the industrial software sector is desirable
    • Strong understanding of industrial processes and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
    • Excellent presentation and coaching skills
    • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
    • Proficiency in English is a requirement
    • Ability to travel/internationally and regionally 30-60% of the time
