GoFundMe is seeking a Field Marketing Events Manager to create impactful event experiences that generate pipeline, strengthen brand presence, and build relationships with nonprofit customers and prospects. This role involves identifying and planning industry events, managing end-to-end event logistics, and measuring event impact. The manager will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams, ensuring events align with business priorities and customer needs. Responsibilities include developing strategic event calendars, coordinating vendors and venues, ensuring brand consistency, and analyzing KPIs to optimize event strategy. The position also supports GoFundMe's flagship event, Collaborative, with a focus on sales and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in field or event marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or nonprofit technology, with a proven track record of executing successful events and strong collaboration skills.

Join us! The GoFundMe Pro team is searching for our next Field Marketing Events Manager who will help with creating high-impact event experiences that generate pipeline, strengthen brand presence, and build lasting relationships with nonprofit customers and prospects.

The Job

  • Event Strategy & Planning
    Identify and prioritize industry events aligned with business goals and audience needs. Develop a strategic event calendar to drive pipeline, retention, and brand awareness. Collaborate cross-functionally to create integrated, localized events that deliver ROI and brand impact.
  • Execution & Activation
    Lead end-to-end event logistics, including vendors, venues, budget, and on-site execution. Ensure brand consistency across all experiences including speaker alignment and content development. Partner stakeholders to host roundtables, meetups, and forums that highlight product innovations and deepen customer engagement.
  • Measurement & Optimization
    Define and track KPIs, report on event impact, and use insights to refine strategy. Continuously improve event formats and messaging to maximize ROI.
  • Cross-Functional & Strategic Alignment
    Act as the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, and Product—ensuring events reflect current business priorities and customer needs. Share field insights to guide messaging and product strategy. Support GoFundMe’s annual flagship event, Collaborative, with a focus on sales and customer engagement.

You 

  • 8–10 years of experience in field or event marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or nonprofit technology.
  • Proven track record of executing events that influence pipeline and build brand equity.
  • Deep understanding of the event lifecycle—from strategy and logistics to content and measurement.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams.
  • Creative, agile, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Cvent, Swoogo, and/or other event management tools.
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams and traveling up to 35% of the time.

Preferred 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $93,000 - $140,000 + equity + benefits.  As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
