Job Description

This Field Sales Representative role at Google Public Sector focuses on new client acquisition within the U.S. Special Operations Forces. Responsibilities include building executive relationships, managing the entire business cycle, leading account strategy for business growth, understanding customer technology landscapes, driving business development, and achieving sales goals. Collaboration with Customer Engineers and Google Partners is key to optimizing results. The role requires presenting findings to C-level executives and navigating the complexities of government procurement and legal processes.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
  • Experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with solutions for the United States (US) National Security Government customers that operate in regulated/secure operating environments.
  • Experience working with and managing industry partner relationships, including global/federal system integrators and independent software vendors.
  • Experience engaging with the Federal Systems Integrators that support US National Security Government customers.
  • Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, investigative tools, applications software, or cloud solutions.
  • Experience with commercial and legal agreements, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with the U.S. Special Operations Forces customers, influence direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Discuss and manage the entire business cycle and present the findings to C-level executives.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, and work with Customer Engineers and Google Partners to optimize business results in territory.
  • Understand the customer technology footprint, growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and business landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
