Job Description

As a Field Service Technician (Electrician) for Tesla's Energy and Charging Field Service team in Croatia, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of energy storage products and supercharger networks. This role involves extensive travel to various locations within Croatia and potentially abroad. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, root cause analysis (both remotely and on-site), stakeholder management, preventing recurring issues, and providing feedback to engineering teams. You will also handle organizational tasks such as planning and coordinating your own technical activities. The ideal candidate possesses experience in electrical engineering, specifically with low- and medium-voltage systems (high voltage experience is a plus), a passion for renewable energy, and excellent communication skills. Proactive, independent work is essential, along with fluency in Croatian and a good command of English. An EU passport or work permit is required.

Must have:

Experience as an electrical technician
Low & Medium Voltage systems experience
Troubleshooting & repair skills
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in Croatian & English

Good to have:

High Voltage systems experience
Renewable energy passion

What to Expect

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Croatia. What You’ll Do

Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Croatia and abroad when needed
Troubleshoot and perform root - cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
Stakeholder managment - act as the first point of contact to contractors
Prevent recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
Organizational tasks, like preparing, organizing, and planning your own technical activities

What You’ll Bring

Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
A passion for renewable energy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
Flexible towards travelling
Fluency in Croatia and a good command of English
An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
