Job Description
As a Field Service Technician in Tesla's Energy and Charging Field Service team, you'll ensure optimal operation of renewable energy storage products and Superchargers. Daily responsibilities involve traveling to various sites across Finland (and abroad as needed) to perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning. You will troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis, both remotely and on-site, act as the primary point of contact for contractors, prevent recurring issues, and provide feedback to engineering teams. Organizational tasks include planning and executing technical activities. This role requires experience in electrical engineering, specifically with low- and medium-voltage systems (high-voltage experience is a plus). Strong communication skills, independence, proactive attitude, flexibility for travel, and fluency in Finnish and English are essential.

What You’ll Do- Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Finland and abroad when needed
- Troubleshoot and perform root - cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
- Stakeholder managment - act as the first point of contact to contractors
- Prevent recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
- Organizational tasks, like preparing, organizing, and planning your own technical activities
- Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
- Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
- A passion for renewable energy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
- Flexible towards travelling
- Fluency in Finish and a good command of English
- An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
