Job Description
Tesla seeks a Field Service Technician in Oslo to maintain its Energy Storage and Supercharger network. Responsibilities include on-site installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of equipment; troubleshooting and root-cause analysis; acting as the primary contact for contractors; collaborating with engineering teams on recurring issues; and independently planning and organizing technical activities. The role requires travel within Norway and potentially abroad. Proficiency in Norwegian and English is essential, along with experience in electrical engineering, specifically low- and medium-voltage systems (high-voltage experience is a plus).

What to ExpectWhat You’ll Bring
As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Norway. What You’ll Do- Perform all on-site technical activities: related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Oslo and abroad when needed
- Troubleshoot: and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
- Stakeholder managment: Act as the first point of contact to contractors
- Team work: recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
- Organizational tasks: prepare, organize, and plan your own technical activities
- Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
- Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
- A passion for renewable energy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
- Flexible towards travelling
- Fluency in Norwegian and a good command of English
- An EU passport or work permit is needed for this position
