Job Description
Tesla seeks a Field Service Technician for its Energy and Charging Field Service team in South East Europe (Serbia, Bulgaria, and Northern Greece), based in Thessaloniki. Responsibilities include on-site installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of energy storage and supercharging networks. Troubleshooting, root-cause analysis (remotely and on-site), stakeholder management, teamwork on recurring issues, and providing feedback to engineering teams are key. The role requires planning and organizing technical activities, and occasional international travel. Ideal candidates possess electrical engineering experience (low- and medium voltage; high voltage a plus), a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and fluency in Serbian, Bulgarian, or Greek, plus English. A local passport or work permit is mandatory.

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy and Charging Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure both our Renewable Energy Storage products and our Superchargers are operating at their best. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be travelling to sites and perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within South Eastern Europe (Serbia, Bulgaria and Northern Greece). What You’ll Do- Perform all on-site technical activities related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage and Supercharging network in Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece and abroad when needed
- Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
- Stakeholder managment, by acting as the first point of contact to contractors
- Team work on recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
- Organizational tasks, including preparing, organizing, and planning of your own technical activities
- Experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field
- Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
- A passion for renewable energy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
- Flexible towards travelling
- Fluency in either Serbian, Bulgarian or Greek and a good command of English
- Local passport or work permit is needed for this position
