The Finance Analyst position within the US Defence Finance organization plays a vital role in guiding the team through key financial reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will be part of a high performing, passionate, and supportive Finance team. You will provide key insights and analysis to drive financial performance and the delivery of critical business initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
  • Reporting on total Defence accounts to maximize Defence deliverables and priorities
  • Providing process improvement opportunities on current processes that have many manual steps
  • Ensuring current processes are documented and in line with group requirements & policies

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in in Accounting or Finance with at least 2+ years of relevant experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 0+ years relevant experience;
  • Master’s degree; OR
  • JD/PhD
  • In order to be considered for this position you must be a U.S. Citizen
     

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • The ideal candidate should have a familiarity with financial reporting, solid understanding of basic accounting principles, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
