Job Description & Summary

A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Our Finance Operations team manages PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As a part of our team, you’ll assist us with budgeting, reporting, business operations, domestic and international accounting operations, and finance strategy.

As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Receive, validate and code foreign and domestic invoices 

  • Timely input of invoices into accounts payable software, including setting up new vendors

  • Confirm reconciled balances monthly with foreign ITCs 

  • Review inter-territory statements received from Member Firms 

  • Manage petty cash distribution & reconciliation

  • Manage reconciliation, payment, allocation and available balance of Firm’s Credit cards

  • Processing of employee expense reports & issuance of cash advances

  • Document filing and retention

  • Provide accurate and timely responses to internal and external clients

  • Reconciliation of Firms medical invoice

  • Weekly cash projections

  • Clearing of payments

  • Processing foreign and local payments (manual and online)

  • Month end closing entries including accruals

  • Banking

  • Respects and maintains confidentiality of suppliers, staff and Firm information 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work with a team

  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility for responsibilities  

  • Organizational and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent customer service skills - Ability to handle queries from various stakeholders incl. Partners and respond in the appropriate manner

  • Proficient in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Detail oriented and well organized

  • Have robust and strong problem-solving and analytical  skills with a focus on solutions while maintaining a strong control environment

  • Proactively seeks instruction, feedback and coaching; shows evidence of incorporating feedback into actions

Education Required:

  • Associate Finance Degree and/or one year’s relevant experience

  • Pursuing an international accounting designation is ideal
