Finance Operations Assistant - Tebex

Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented finance and operationsassistant to join our energetic team, manage finance processes such as data preparation and reconciliation, and support our leadership team on the quest to empower in-game creators to build a new profession.

As a finance and operations assistant, you will be working within our Payments & Compliance team, responsible for a range of day-to-day processes surrounding sales tax, payments reconciliation, reporting and more. This role involves being able to learn and follow a variety of processes using a range of tools and software and handling payouts to a range of partners, as well as supporting our creators to receive their funds quickly and safely, navigating issues such as VAT, missing payment identification and mitigating risk.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and submit sales tax data using predefined tools and processes.
• Reconcile pay-in/payout transactions on our Checkout platform.
• Handle payouts and related queries for creators and partners, including KYC checks, VAT inquiries, identifying missing payments, and other creator requests.
• Manage the digitization of physical mail, flagging communications with the relevant point of contact as appropriate.
• Provide overflow/holiday cover to other Payments & Compliance team members.
• Dance in the forest during full moon nights to appease the demigods of payment and compliance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in learning and applying finance-related processes such as reconciliation, data preparation, and reporting.
• Accuracy oriented.
• High standards and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new software and processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organization and planning.
• Proficiency in ancient ritualistic dances.
