Job Description

Game District seeks a skilled Financial Analyst to analyze financial data, provide insights, and contribute to decision-making. Responsibilities include consolidating and analyzing financial data (budgets, forecasts), offering cost reduction and performance improvement recommendations, developing financial models, conducting benchmarking and process analysis, identifying trends and advising the company, tracking financial status, and consulting with management on strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, understands financial concepts, and has experience delivering accurate and insightful analysis.

Must have:

Proficient in spreadsheets & financial software
Experience with statistical analysis
Excellent communication & reporting skills
Knowledge of financial forecasting & corporate finance

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join Game District. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data, providing insights, and contributing to informed decision-making within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and a proven track record of delivering accurate and insightful analysis.
Responsibilities:

Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) taking into account the company’s goals and financial standing
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop forecast models
Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions
Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope

Requirements and skills:

Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments
bachelor's in Finance
Experience: 3-4 years
